Happy Tuesday, Birmingham! Photo via Jacob Blankenship for Bham Now

The statewide mask mandate drops on April 9, but even our youngest advocates are asking for Birmingham to implement its own.  The fight isn’t over yet, Birmingham. While we wait for the pandemic to be a thing only found in history books, see what’s happening in the present-day biz world.

Before you dive in:
🌟 Summer is fast approaching and for anyone in school above the age of 16 that means #internshipszn. Luckily, we have some great opportunities in town—including one from Jefferson County.

🌟  Middle school can be tough, but this casting call for an energetic 11 to 15 year old might make up for it. Apply to be STREAM’s next star.

🌟 Happy National Library Week! We love our local libraries and not to play favorites, but I would personally be lost with Homewood’s—which I rent from about three times a month.
