I, Too, Am Alabama is the first retrospective covering Thornton Dial’s entire career. This is also the first large-scale exhibition of his work in his home state of Alabama. The exhibition features masterworks spanning Dial’s entire career including sculpture, works on paper, and assemblages, with many works that have never been previously exhibited or published. The exhibition features significant loans from the Dial family, Alabama institutions, and private collections across the United States.

Walk Through Nativity

Each Advent season Briarwood presents a gift to our community with the Walk Through Nativity. Hundreds of Briarwood members come together to depict the birth and life of our Lord in 12 biblical scenes with narrated drama using live actors and animals (including a camel!) Won’t you plan on joining us this year? Each night, Wednesday through Friday, come anytime between 6:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. and take this easy, 1/4-mile stroll that is wheelchair and stroller friendly. Make this a Christmas tradition with your family. Admission is free, but the message is priceless!


Bingo Benefiting Community Food Bank of Alabama

Join us in the Taproom for 'donate to play' bingo every Wednesday. Each round your first card is free with additional cards available at $5. This month all proceeds from the game and a portion of our Wednesday Taproom sales (to-go and in-house) will be donated to the Community Food Bank of Alabama. October 1 – October 31, we'll be collecting canned goods to support the food bank. Make sure to bring a can or two and help us win the "Hops for Hunger" food drive!

Gingerbread House Competition @ Hi-Wire Birmingham

Get in the Holiday spirit with a Gingerbread House Decorating Competition on December 7th!
