While most of the last year seemed to both fly by and stand still at the same time, pandemic or not January is always a sluggish month. Not to worry, because we’ve got plenty of business news to perk you back up—whether it’s starting a new job search, checking out a new local business or virtually networking with new connections.

🌟  According to the CDC, as of January 25, Alabama has administered 243,737 COVID-19 vaccines. Most recently, people 75+ and first responders are now eligible for the vaccine. Have you registered to know when it’ll be your turn?

🌟  Reigning champs! 👸 Netflix reported its biggest viewing figures ever for December and that’s partly thanks to the smash hit Bridgerton. Executive Producer Shonda Rhimes can move the crown from Queen Charlotte’s head to her own because the series reached 63 million viewers. Another person gaining significant views? This Birmingham native on Tik Tok who is co-composing her own Bridgerton musical.
