From important COVID-19 updates to a vaccination hotline, the Jefferson County Department of Health (JCDH) has been a prominent source of information and resources throughout the pandemic. And through the pandemic, they’ve been preparing for employment needs.

“When the COVID-19 vaccine was on the horizon, we immediately knew we would need to hire temporary employees to help with vaccination efforts. In late November, JCDH began to accept applications for temporary employees. During that time, JCDH received close to 1K applicants.
JCDH is currently in the process of hiring additional temporary employees from the pool of applications received in November.”
