16th Annual Gumbo Gala

Our COVID safe version of Gumbo Gala will be Saturday 17 April at Cahaba Brewing in Avondale. No tickets required!
This event is open to the public with live music, cold beverages, local artisans, and gumbo by Tasteful Touch Mobile Catering.
Gumbo Gala will not have team competitions this year, in an effort to remain socially responsible and honor COVID safety guidelines.
We will also have Gumbo to Geaux on April 22nd & 23rd with curbside pickup. More info at gumbogala.com!

Jake’s Celebration of Life – CANCELLED

Join us in the Taproom as we celebrate the life and memory of Jacob “Jake” Arthur Hayes. Jake was a founding partner of Cahaba Brewing Company and a friend, husband, and father. 

To celebrate his life, we’ll be hosting an event at the Taproom open to the public with 50% of sales donated to Hope for Autumn, a foundation that Jake worked closely with. A private reception will be held in the Barrel Room for family and friends from 1 – 3.

Please join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of our friend.

Cahaba’s Adult Easter Egg Hunt

Swing by the Taproom on Sunday for an adult Easter egg hunt! We’ll be hiding eggs filled with Cahaba swag, $5 Cahaba gift cards, and more around the Taproom and on the Patio.
**Please note that the hunt begins at 2 PM and ends when all the eggs have been found!

Cahaba Chess Night

Join us for a night of beer and chess at Cahaba Brewing Company. This is a ‘donate to play’ event with all proceeds benefiting free chess lessons for kids throughout the Birmingham community.
New to chess? No problem! We’ll have Chessmaster David Harris** on-site to show you all the in’s and out’s of the game.
Chess master? All skill levels are welcome! Come through for a casual and friendly game.
Chess sets will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own.
And we’ll have $4 cocktail specials every Thursday night!

David taught chess at Woodlawn High School, Willowwood Recreational Center, and the Eastlake Library. He’s very passionate about the advantages chess can provide such as teaching problem-solving, conflict resolution, and strategic thinking. Through teaching chess, he’s has helped many young people to excel in math and give them the ability to develop great concentration skills prompting them to excel in their academic studies

Cahaba Crawfish Boil

Swing by the Taproom for another Cahaba Crawfish Boil! This time we’ll have Crawdaddy’s from 12 – 5 and close out the night with Cantina from 5 – 10.

Cahaba Comedy Night

Join us in the Barrel Room for the Cahaba Comedy Night hosted by Matt Winters! This comedy night will feature multiple local comedians plus we’ll have Taco Morro Loco from 7 – 9.
