With flashing lights, tickets streaming and people cheering, there’s nothing quite like that classic feel of an arcade. Even though I grew up in the internet age of the ’90s and 2000s, my Dad made sure that I was educated in the arcade classics. On trips out of town, we’d always try and find someplace to play Pac-Man or battle it out in skeeball.

Big week of music in the Magic City, with two sold out Iron City shows: Kane Brown is presented by 102.5 The Bull on Sunday evening and Chevelle with 10 Years and AEges is Monday evening, but you’re going to need to look to a secondary market if you want to get in to either of them.
There’s much music to see in Birmingham this week, and much of it homegrown. As of now, there isn’t a sellout listed among these selections, so find the one that speaks to you and support your local venues, clubs and theaters.
October’s starting to wrap up and the weather has finally started to cool down! This week has a lot going on, and you’re bound to find something you love!
