The Upstairs Comedy Series Presents: Dave Ross (Comedy Central, Drunk History, The Late Late Show)

Avondale Brewing Company is proud to welcome comedian Dave Ross to its Upstairs Comedy Series. Dave has been featured on a slew of Comedy Central’s most popular programs like Drunk History & This Is Not Happening. He’s also performed on The Late Late Show with James Corden, and has been a guest on the popular WTF podcast with Marc Maron. The Upstairs Comedy Series, hosted by Birmingham’s own Wes Van Horn, is bringing national touring acts to downtown Birmingham.

The Upstairs Comedy Series Presents: Dave Stone

Avondale Brewing Company is proud to announce stand-up comedian Dave Stone as the next performer in its new Upstairs Comedy Series, which will bring nationally touring stand-up comics to downtown Birmingham. Hosted by comedian and Birmingham-native Wes Van Horn, the series aims to connect Birmingham comedy lovers with professional acts seen on television, in films, and more – as they tour the country. Based in Los Angeles by way of Atlanta, Dave Stone made his television debut on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” in 2013 and in the same year was selected to the prestigious “New Faces” roster of the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. Since then, he has been seen on season 8 of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing”, Viceland’s “Flophouse”, and Travel Channel’s “Cheat Day Chow Down”. When not headlining clubs across the country, Dave regularly tours with Craig Ferguson. He also can be heard voicing several characters on Adult Swim’s “Squidbillies”, co-hosting his new paranormal podcast “The Boogie Monster” with Kyle Kinane, and hosting his weekly alt-country radio show “The Gravy Boat”. The show will start at 9pm and be located upstairs. Tickets are on sale now at avondalebrewing.com. Initial performer Billy Wayne Davis has appeared on Conan, Last Comic Standing, WTF w/Marc Maron, voiced characters on Adult Swim’s SquidBillies, hosted a documentary for CMT, opened for Sturgill Simpson’s Living the Dream Tour, and released 2 comedy albums, “Billy Wayne Davis” & “Billy Wayne Davis: Live at Third Man Records.” Originally from Tennessee, he now resides in Los Angeles. The show will start at 8pm and be located upstairs. Tickets are on sale now at avondalebrewing.com. The rumors are true. Good People Brewing Company announced today in a press release that they have purchased Avondale Brewing Company from Avondale Holdings, a subsidiary of Orchestra Partners.
