Avondale Brewing Company 201 41st St S, Birmingham, AL

A night of live music, laughs and libations, the event will raise money to support the Literacy Council’s mission of improving lives through literacy education. Nashville based rock band The Prescriptions will take the stage as the headliner preceded by Birmingham’s own singer-songwriter Taylor Hollingsworth. Emcees Nicholas Finch and Kirstan Cunningham, the duo behind the True Comedy podcast, are sure to keep you laughing throughout the night. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. VIP tickets, which include access to an exclusive VIP lounge and two free drinks, are $50.

The Arc of Shelby County Tailgate Party & College Football Trivia Competition

On Saturday, August 27, 2022 The Arc of Shelby County Tailgate Party will be held at Oak Mountain Brewing Company in Pelham, Alabama. The event will feature a College Football Trivia Competition with a CASH PRIZE, as well as food, drinks, fun and games, and raffle. Individual tickets are $30 per person. Trivia Competition Teams are $150 for four players. Proceeds from the event will benefit over 1,500 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities served by The Arc of Shelby County each year.
