Back Forty Birmingham, the first satellite brewery of Back Forty in Gadsden, welcomed friends and family to its Sloss Docks location for an opening celebration on Saturday, July 7. The brew pub is now officially open to the public, and Bham Now’s got the lowdown.

Ghost Train Brewing Co. is one of the best known local brewers to hit the Birmingham food and beverage scene. An interesting new stout, Stout Side of the Moon 13.9ABV has been released in nifty four-packs by Ghost Train.
Forget basketball, the most important “bracket” you can fill out today is Garden and Gun Magazine’s Southern Craft Brewery Bracket. And the big matchup today? Birmingham’s own Good People Brewing vs. Southern Prohibition Brewing out of Hattiesburg, Mississppi.
