They did it again! Hop City Beer & Wine in Lakeview has been nominated to compete for the 3rd consecutive year in USA Today’s 10Best Readers Choice contest for the Best Beer Bar in the U.S.

As the old proverb says: The third time’s a charm!

Hop City made the Best Bar list of 20 nominees again because, in USA Today’s own words, they fit the following criteria:

  • A stellar selection of draft, bottled, and canned beers
  • A focus on local or regional selections
  • A relaxed atmosphere and knowledgeable bar staff ready to help any guest become a beer connoisseur

Our local beer bar is up against establishments from New York City to Seattle.

Hop City needs votes

Runner-up in 2022

In 2022, Hop City was the contest runner-up. Last year, they came in 10th. As of February 8 — and remember its early — they are ranked first on the leaderboard.

Now is a good time to increase their lead.
