Join us in the Taproom as we celebrate the life and memory of Jacob “Jake” Arthur Hayes. Jake was a founding partner of Cahaba Brewing Company and a friend, husband, and father. 

To celebrate his life, we’ll be hosting an event at the Taproom open to the public with 50% of sales donated to Hope for Autumn, a foundation that Jake worked closely with. A private reception will be held in the Barrel Room for family and friends from 1 – 3.

Please join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of our friend.

Lemon Drop In Release Party & Skate Competition

Join us at Cahaba Brewing Company as we unveil THE Birmingham collaboration of the decade!

WHAT: Have you been dreaming of acquiring artwork by John Lytle Wilson for your home? This is your chance! Sunday, October 13th we will unveil artwork from Birmingham’s John Lytle Wilson and Cahaba Brewing’s very own Sarah Ferguson. Printed on a skate deck produced in Alabama by our favorite local skate shop, Faith Skate Supply, these superb skate decks are decorative and functional.

FOOD: Noble Dog slinging dogs and Ono Ice shaving ice starting at 2pm!

BEER: To celebrate this merging of Birmingham icons, Cahaba Brewing Company has brewed Lemon Drop In – a Belgian Pale Ale with the preferences of John Lytle Wilson and Peter (owner of Faith Skate) in mind. With Belgian yeast, Lemon Drop and Citra hops, and grains of paradise, Lemon Drop In is a Pale Ale with bright, pleasant citrus and an edgy kick from Belgian yeast.

TOUR: Hop on the free tour of Cahaba Brewing Company’s facility at 5pm

COMPETE: Starting at 2pm on Sunday, October 13th, we will have skate competitions hosted by Faith Skate:
-Barrel Jump
-Game of Skate
-Stein Hoist on skateboards

***No outside alcohol is allowed on premises. Anyone found to have outside alcohol will be promptly escorted off of the property.
All patrons participating in the skateboarding competitions must sign a liability waiver. Children under 18 years of age must have a waiver signed on site by their legal guardian.***
