The people behind Corbeau

The Martin Family, who became Trussville residents in 2013 and 2016, are the founders and owners of Corbeau Wine Bar.

John and Mark Martin are Miami-born brothers who married sisters Elizabeth and Mary Crow.

Curious where the name came from? Here’s what we found on Instagram:

“Their [the sisters’] maiden name, Crow, in French is Corbeau, from which the inspiration behind the name comes. Not only Sisters, but best friends, they have always wanted to open a business together, and the idea for a wine bar came to Elizabeth on a trip to Charlotte, North Carlolina in 2021. After speaking with her sister, Mary, they agreed a wine bar would be a perfect fit for @trussville_district and Corbeau Wine Bar was born! They look forward to bringing an upscale wine tasting bar to the Community, and just know each time you visit, it will be a unique experience you won’t soon forget!”
