Coming Soon

1. Cookie Dough Magic

Break out the spoons, Trussville’s budding entertainment district is about to get a whole lot sweeter. Cookie Dough Magic is coming soon!

“Trussville is a thriving area that we have been interested in for a while. It has been one of the most requested location spots by customers that come into our Avondale location. We are very excited that we have a great team in place for the Trussville location!”

Melissa Bell, Founder, Cookie Dough Magic

The shop, which originally opened in Avondale in 2018, brought an all-new concept to the area—cookie dough that can be eaten safely. A true dessert game changer for those of us who snuck eating cookie dough as kids.

The shop will reside on Beech Street next to Ferus Artisan Ales and will feature a family-friendly vibe during the day and a funkier, music-rich atmosphere at night that will compliment the brewery’s more mature crowd.

There will be something extra special at the Trussville location, too—lots of outdoor seating.

Aside from the brand new space, you can expect all the shop’s signature flavors, such as:

  • Cheesecake Cookie Dough
  • Java Chip
  • Magic Cookie Dough
  • Birthday Cake Batter
  • Vegan gluten free chocolate chip

And, of course, Magic Chocolate Chip—the flavor that started it all!

Get your dough in a cup or on a flavored cone.

Be sure to check out the new limited edition flavor featured each month. Follow social to find out when new flavors are released. And be sure to sign up for Cookie Dough Magic’s reward program to earn free dough!

Expected opening date: Fall 2020.

There will soon be a new spot to get your sweat on. Champions Fitness is coming to Trussville. Owners, Teddy and Jennifer Zane, also own Trussville’s newest pizza place—Ironstone NY Pizzeria.

At 42,000 square feet, the fitness center will be one of the largest gyms in the greater Birmingham area.

According to Zane, the vast size of the building allows gym equipment to be adequately spaced to help keep members safely distanced. Cleaning stations will also be situated at every machine.

You can expect a lot from the center, including:

  • Cutting edge fitness equipment
  • Group classes
  • Personal training
  • Outdoor training area and track
  • Daycare
