Yesterday, at 7:30am, it was a chilly 40 degrees in Birmingham.  Bundled and layered up, the farmers, the makers and food vendors were prepared for a slow day as people trickled in toward The Market at Pepper Place.

“Magically.” The temperature rose, the sun shined, and the crowd grew and grew.

Thanksgiving feast aftermath…. how to recycle your cooking oil

The devastation is complete.

The family has eaten that 20 pound bird and everything in sight.  You’ve been cooking like a maniac for a week. You look around the kitchen and there it is… the pans of cooking oil.

What can you do about it? You know throwing it down the drain is wrong.

Very wrong.
