The Walls of Jericho trail is located in the Paint Rock River watershed in Jackson County.  It comprises approximately 25,000 acres with caves, springs, mountains and woods.  Recreational opportunities include hiking, camping, hunting, and horseback riding.  The hiking trailhead is located at 34.976624 -86.080372 off AL-79.
