Watch Will Smith take on aliens intent on blowing up more than just the White House!  Independence Day is an Independence Day tradition, and while American Independence Day might be in a few days, the Alabama Theatre keeps the theme running.  Technically, June 30th is Independence Day in the Democratic Republic of the Congo!  Read more

I can’t pass on an opportunity to show off Birmingham talent, and the Future Primitives have talent by the truckload!  I first saw them at last year’s SlossFest, and they stole the show from all three main stages!  Underland Express, also from the Magic City, and Forbidden Waves round out the night with more surf and psychedelic rock.  Read more

Heninger Garrison Davis presents the inaugural Red, White, and Brew!  Held in conjunction with the Birmingham Food Truck Coalition, expect live music, great food, family fun, and great beer!  Proceeds will benefit the Birmingham Education Foundation.  Coincidentally (or maybe not!), TrimTab also offers a fantastic spot to relax and watch Thunder on the Mountain, starting at 9PM!  Read more
