A little about Fetch Rewards
Fetch Rewards, based out of Madison, Wisconsin, is planning a new office facility and customer service hub in Birmingham. With over 13 million active users, Fetch Rewards is the nation’s fastest-growing consumer rewards app. Here’s how it works:
- First, scan your receipts from stores and restaurants to gain points with Fetch Rewards.
- Then, redeem your points for gift cards and other fun things.
This app has received over 2 billion receipts, earning people $240 million in reward points. There are over 500 global brands on its roster, so there’s no doubt you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for.
Don’t tell Regina, but Fetch is happening.
New office in Downtown
Now, Fetch Rewards is planning to invest over $1 million in their new office and customer service hub in Birmingham’s Parkside District.
“Fetch Rewards’ decision to base a new operation in Birmingham is great news for the city and for the entire state of Alabama. They will find that Birmingham is a welcoming, tech-savvy home where they can find all the ingredients needed to build a successful business operation.”
Kay Ivey, Alabama Govenor
In the past few years, we’ve seen Birmingham grow into a dynamic hub for tech-focused businesses. Here are a few of the innovative businesses we love:
Wes Schroll, the founder and CEO of Fetch, applauded Birmingham for our innovative and entrepreneurial tech industry. He stated that there’s plenty of local talent that will make a great addition to the Fetch team. We couldn’t agree more.
They’re hiring!
You can expect the new office to open around spring 2022. They’re currently hiring for a variety of positions including support, data integrity, engineering, product and fraud.
You’ll probably be glad to hear that the jobs are remote-first hybrid positions. That means you get the option to work from home, or your fave coffee shop, while also having a space for in-person collaboration when needed—hence, the new office space.
“We are thrilled to see the continued momentum of Birmingham becoming a tech hub in the Southeast with the addition of Fetch Rewards.”
Ron Kitchen, CEO of Birmingham Business Alliance
Are you excited about Fetch’s new office? We definitely are.
