Meet Roscoe Hall
You might remember Roscoe Hall as the Birmingham-based chef that was featured on Top Chef, but he also is a well-known artist! In fact, he’s a trained art historian with an M.A. from SCAD, the Savanah College of Art and Design.
In Jerusalem Heights, Hall features his own amusing personal history. Roscoe Hall tells the tale of the 90s, shady deals and the diversity of his childhood. Look out for his “crack-smoking uncle”, his grandfather and even Hall himself in his textured acrylic works.
From his mother’s journey from Chicago to Alabama to his own life as an artist and chef, you don’t want to miss this inside look at this creative commentary and what it means to be Black.
