Do Dah Day

Cahaba Brewing Co. announces plans to host Do Dah Day, an event supporting the volunteer-led, 501(c)3 non-profit that helps provide funding to local animal charities. The event will be held Saturday, May 15th from 11 AM to 6 PM CDT and features live music, cute animals, food, vendors, and more!

Do Dah Day raises profits that directly benefit charities each year. With the 2020 event being canceled due to COVID-19, this year’s event is more important than ever! With the city of Birmingham currently pausing event permits, Cahaba offered its event spaces for use. To support social distancing efforts, the event will extend through the Taproom, Patio, and parking lot. Masks will be required as part of the city of Birmingham’s ordinance.

To help with crowd control and safety, tickets will be required for entry. They are $5 in advance and $8 at the gate. Payment forms accepted are cash, credit, debit, PayPal, and Venmo. You can view more information and purchase tickets here.

Visit the official event page to view a full list of vendors, food trucks, and musicians included in the event!

Trucks by the Tracks is Birmingham’s premiere food truck event! Photo by Railroad Park via Facebook

Birmingham continues to show off with it’s list of fun weekend to-dos. On the roster this weekend? Four festivals — 2 food, 1 moon, 1 Latinx. Oh, did we mention you can board a party bus and sample small plates from around metro Birmingham? Follow that up with a once-monthly bottomless brunch situation for a great time. For the less party-inclined, a teens-and-tech night and a pop-up market round out the weekend. Continue reading “In case you missed it: This is set to be yet another fantastic weekend in Birmingham.
