A new bar and events space will officially open Saturday, August 3, when Dread River Distilling Co. hosts the grand opening of its tasting room and events space.

A new craft distillery opened its doors in Birmingham this week for tours before a full opening later this summer. Bham Now was there and here’s what we saw and tasted.  The Dread River Distilling Company will manufacture a full complement of drinks at it’s 24,000 sq foot distilling facility on 7th Avenue South. Bourbon, rye whiskey, vodka, rum,and gin will all be distilled in-house, as well as small batches of wine and beer.

Get a taste and tour of the new Dread River Distilling Co. this Memorial Day opening in Southside this July

Dread River Distilling Co.—so far the largest distillery in Alabama—is set to open early July 2019 in Birmingham’s Lakeview District. But don’t wait to see what the all the hype is about! Taste spirits and tour their new 24,000 square-foot manufacturing facility, tasting room and event space this month at their open house this Memorial Day on May 27.
