Back in August, we reported that a new Yogurt Mountain location was coming soon to The Colonnade on Highway 280 in Birmingham. Now, they’re finally open for business and ready to serve tasty frozen yogurt creations.

Yogurt Mountain is an Alabama native

Did you know? While Yogurt Mountain currently has over 40 locations across the Southeast, they actually got their start right here in Birmingham in 2009 with their first store at Cahaba Village.

Nearly 15 years later, their latest venture at The Colonnade will be their 10th location in Alabama.

The Colonnade in Birmingham will be Yogurt Mountain’s biggest store yet

According to Senior Operations Manager Joey Weast, this new location will have major upgrades.

“Our Colonnade location is going to be our biggest Yogurt Mountain yet, boasting 12 dual sided machines (that’s 24 individual flavors and 12 unique twists), a huge, double-sided topping bar island and tons of seating.”

Here’s a taste of some of the flavors on rotation this season:

  • Aunt Ida’s poundcake
  • Cookie butter
  • Caramel pretzel
  • Candy cane
  • Cherry amaretto
  • Spiced apple pie
