Frozen yogurt-lovers rejoice! The beloved, Alabama-native Yogurt Mountain is coming to the Colonnade off of Highway 280. Keep reading for information on this location and when you can visit.

Sweet home Yogurt Mountain

Yogurt Mountain first opened its doors in Cahaba Village in September 2009 and quickly expanded to more than 40 locations nationwide. As the ultimate self-serve frozen treat spot, you can let your creative side run wild with Yogurt Mountain’s 16 rotating flavors and 50+ toppings.

Just like the rest of us, Yogurt Mountain has a hard time staying away from Alabama. The Colonnade is the lucky winner of the 10th Alabama location.

Heena, the owner of both Hoover and the Colonnade Yogurt Mountains, told us about her long-time desire to open up a yogurt business.

“I always wanted to open yogurt store, and when the Hoover store was on the market, I took the chance.”

Alongside her husband Dhrue, Heena is eager to open up her second franchise.

“There aren’t many dessert places around the Shops at the Colonnade, so I think this will be a great addition.”

We spoke to Senior Operations Manager Joey Weast to hear an update on this new addition.

“Our Colonnade location is going to be our biggest Yogurt Mountain yet, boasting 12 dual sided machines (that’s 24 individual flavors and 12 unique twists), a huge, double-sided topping bar island and tons of seating.

We are very close to opening and cannot wait to get the doors open to the public very soon.”

This location will open sometime next week and run 11AM-10PM daily.
