1. Mr. Shawarma | Downtown
Authentic Egyptian and Middle Eastern food will be making its way to downtown Birmingham. Check out Mr. Shawarma’s website to preview the vibrant menu. I can’t wait to try the Mr. Shawarma Chicken Fries!

2. Rocky’s Pizza | Five Points South
Rocky’s Pizza is coming back to Birmingham! The small business is no stranger to The Magic City. Nearly seven years ago Rocky’s Pizza & Italian Foods closed its doors, but we are happy to report they plan to open late this summer.

3. Guerreo Mexican | Leeds
Guerreo Mexican will be taking over The Wing Cafe Deli & Sports Grill in Leeds. More details to come!

5. Nordstrom Rack | The Summit
A personal favorite, Nordstrom Rack will soon be located at The Summit. The store is relocating from its previous location on Highway 280 at River Ridge.

6. Woodlawn Theatre | Woodlawn
Last week, Woodlawn Theatre celebrated its long-awaited grand opening. According to Woodlawn Theatre’s website, bookings for June 2023 and beyond are open! A great outing to add to your summer bucket list. Keep an eye out for upcoming events.

7. Emmy Squared | The Summit
Get ready to enjoy Detroit-style pizza right here in Birmingham. Emmy Squared Pizza has everything on their menu from 19 different kinds of pizzas to fries with zia pimento cheese, scallions, bacon and ranch. This will be the first Emmy Squared location to make its way into Alabama.

8. University Tacos | Downtown
