Birmingham, it’s a new week and we have nine businesses for you to get excited about. From a classy cocktail bar to a flower shop, there are many new spots for you to look forward to and visit in The Magic City.

1. Adiõs | Downtown

It’s official, y’all—Adiõs, a cocktail bar, is opening on Tuesday, November 1. José Medina Camacho and Jesús Méndez, both born in Mexico, are bringing a taste of their home to Birmingham with ingredients and decor from their native country. Adiõs is the perfect place to meet your crew and try a familiar cocktail served with a twist.

“Adiõs is something that José and I have been wanting to do for a long time. Our goal is to introduce new ingredients and flavors to guests while welcoming them into a place that immediately feels like home. Hospitality and caring for others is at the root of everything we do, so we want this to be a space for people to celebrate, grieve, meet new friends or just sit at the bar and tell us about their day.”

Jesús Méndez, Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Adiõs

2. The Fitness Court | Leeds

This new, free outdoor fitness court in Leeds is the best spot for staying fit starting on Tuesday, November 1. This recreational spot was made possible due to a partnership with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama (BCBS) and the National Fitness Campaign (NFC). This fitness court enables users to use their own body weight at different stations for the perfect workout.

3. Icon Trussville | Trussville

Golf enthusiasts, this new store is the best by par. As the first and only new golf cart dealership in Trussville, Icon Trussville is the spot to gear up before heading to the course. On Friday, November 18, head to the grand opening to check out their offerings of both Icon Electric Vehicles and Epic Carts.

4. Dimples Flower Shop | Downtown

I’m a sucker for a pretty bouquet of flowers, so I’m excited to walk down from our office to Mercantile on Morris to check out Dimples Flower Shop, which opens on Tuesday, November 1. Not only is it a flower shop, but it’s also a boutique with adorable clothes and accessories. Talk about the best of both worlds! From beautiful florals to a holiday sweater, it will be hard to leave empty-handed.

5. CAVA | Homewood & Brook Highland

Mediterranean food is my absolute favorite, so you know I’m not just walking to CAVA—I’m running. In 2018, this fast-casual restaurant chain bought Zoës Kitchen. Now, we have two new locations to chow down on their tasty menu, including bowls and pitas filled with yummy Mediterranean toppings like hummus and falafel.

6. La Paz Restaurant & Catering | Ross Bridge

This delicious Birmingham restaurant is getting ready to open its third location in Hoover. Since they’ve been open for over 30 years, you know this Mexican restaurant has perfected its tasty dishes like chicken tinga tacos and tamales. Make sure you sip on a margarita while you’re here.

7. CLUB4 Fitness | Hoover

Achieving your fitness goals just got easier with this new location of CLUB4 Fitness in Hoover that just opened. With all the equipment you need and personal training options, this gym is the perfect spot for you to sweat it out.

“Birmingham will be getting their latest lineup of e-bikes and scooters. I’ve had the chance to ride their newest version of e-bike and it is the cream of the crop.”

9. Baja California | Crestwood

Cue the chips and guac because this Gardendale restaurant is opening a new spot in Birmingham soon. According to the Birmingham Business Journal, the new location on Crestwood Boulevard will be serving up the same authentic Mexican deliciousness, including taquitos and burritos.
