Phase II Details
Phase II was supposed to begin in March 2020 but was halted because of COVID. The developer, Ward Neely was able to partner with Addicus, an independent investment advisor based out of Mississippi to invest in the development. Although they are based out of state, they have a branch located in downtown Birmingham. Once Phase II of the project is completed, they will move into one of its office spaces.
The project is expected to be $10 million and will be 40,000 square feet. It not only will have retail shops and restaurants but will feature a coffee shop, cocktail bar and a courtyard. They also plan to have a dive bar that is located in a shipping container.
