Birmingham’s newest brewery finally makes their debut opening. We wrote about Ferus opening earlier this year and we are so excited to see them open their doors. We got an inside look of the new spot, and we’re taking you along with us. Check it out.

Avondale, the home for Ferus on 41st, is host to many dining spots and breweries. So, it is a perfect spot for Ferus Ales’ new location. We did an interview with their head brewer and here’s what he had to say.

“The downtown location is great for us as we consistently hear requests for our food and beer, but the distance from downtown keeps folks in the city. The Avondale location not only gives us more opportunity to serve those customers, but gain new fans as well.”

Avondale is such an iconic area in Birmingham—Darnell says Ferus will have no issues carrying on its legacy here. This location will follow the same pattern as the Trussville location.
