The Master Plan for Parkside
This September marks the 10 year anniversary of Railroad Park’s opening, and over the past decade, the area surrounding the park—now aptly known as Parkside—has taken on a life of its own.
Some big players in Birmingham have teamed up on a master plan to build on the momentum already reenergizing Parkside. The plan includes new state-of-the-art entertainment venues, added residential and retail space, upscale hotels and a whole lot more.

Live in the Center of the Action
With all this buzz, Parkside is sure to become one of the hottest spots in the Birmingham metro. Want to live within walking distance of it all? You’re in luck.
The Denham Building recently underwent a massive renovation and currently has stylish and upscale lofts up for grabs. The spaces are gorgeous and the location is pretty unbeatable. We can personally attest to that—Bham Now got a sneak preview when the building was under construction. Scroll through the photos above to tag along!
Meet Rintro and Own the Experience
Birmingham’s latest tech startup is launching right from the heart of Parkside—they’re the first commercial tenant in the Denham Building. Rintro is a new mobile app that will facilitate short-term rentals of outdoor recreational and utility equipment. They’ve bought into the sharing economy—here’s how it works.
Say you want to get into new outdoor activites like camping, canoeing/kayaking, mountain biking, climbing/bouldering, etc. Birmingham and the surrounding areas are a great place for it! However, there’s often a cost barrier to all the necessary equipment. That’s where Rintro comes in.
People who own that equipment (read: people who bought expensive equipment that may or may not be collecting dust in their garage) can loan it out through Rinto with the peace of mind of an ironclad damage protection program. It’s a win-win—pretty cool, right?
We think so. If you want to learn more, check them out on Instagram or head over to their website.
