Cheese lovers unite! Restaurant franchise, I Heart Mac & Cheese, is coming to Birmingham. They plan to open TWO stores in Birmingham and one in Tuscaloosa within the next year.

Remember those nights in college when the closest thing you got to a real dinner was Kraft Mac and Cheese? Soon you’ll be able to re-live those days…except with a modern twist and healthier options.
I Heart Mac & Cheese will soon have two restaurants in Birmingham. They’re known for the custom, build-your-own mac and cheese bowls. They also offer grilled cheese sandwiches if that’s more your speed.
The fun concept and affordable franchise model led the restaurant to be named by Entrepreneur magazine as one of 2019’s top new franchise opportunities in the country.
It’s like Chipotle but with macaroni! Customers are able to choose pasta, bread, quinoa, broccoli or cauliflower base for their bowls. You can top it off with seven different protein options, veggies, and cheeses.
I Heart Mac & Cheese is truly for everyone. If you’re lactose intolerant or vegan, the restaurant just revealed their new vegan menu with plant-based options including Beyond Meat. For those on gluten-free diets, there are even options for you. Everyone can have a gouda time!
I don’t know about you but I’m super excited for this new restaurant to open in 2020. Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE anything with cheese. The more, the better. I’m sure that I’m not alone and I Heart Mac and Cheese will be a real hit in Birmingham!
