Dr. Pruitt got his dental start in 1994, following his graduation from the UAB School of Dentistry. After that, he purchased the Vestavia Family Dentistry & Facial Aesthetics practice.

2. Magic City Dentistry brings smiles to Birmingham
In 2018, Dr. Pruitt noticed that downtown Birmingham’s dental needs were not being met. So he opened his second office, Magic City Dentistry. Since then, Magic City Dentistry has been wowing patients with their “fun” vibe. In fact, they just celebrated their first anniversary with an art show!
3. Dr. Pruitt’s passion for philanthropy takes dentistry to Guatemala and beyond
In addition to his work in Birmingham, Dr. Pruitt brings his dental skills around the globe. Significantly, he brings dental care to areas of the world that are in desperate need.
During his regular trips to Guatemala, Dr. Pruitt brings his knowledge and skills to the community. In addition to performing dental work, he gives advanced training to local dentists.
Dr. Pruitt has always been passionate about using his dental talents for charity. In order to help out, Dr. Pruitt donates his time and talents to multiple philanthropic causes and charitable organizations, such as:

- Cahaba Valley Health Clinic

- Make-A-Wish Foundation
- Auburn University
Additionally, Dr. Pruitt is a huge supporter of the UAB School of Dentistry. During the school year, he gives lectures as a volunteer. Furthermore, he hosts an annual reception for staff, faculty and the school’s Dean.
