St. Paul & The Broken Bones playing free Birmingham show Saturday night

St. Paul & The Broken Bones are playing in support of Democratic Senate candidate Doug Jones via a “Get Out the Vote” concert. Also, Jason Isbell is playing a free show in Huntsville.

Whoa. Two of Alabama’s (and the nation’s) top recording acts are playing FREE shows this weekend. Both bands have thrown their support towards Democratic senate hopeful Doug Jones.

St. Paul & The Broken Bones will play at Boutwell Auditorium Saturday night. The show starts at 7 p.m.

Jason Isbell will play a show on Saturday night at Side Tracks in Hunstville at 6 p.m.

Alabama’s special senate election is Tuesday, December 12.

According to Google Trends, Alabama voters continue searching “for a wide variety of issues.” Those issues include: abortion, crime, healthcare, immigration and sexual harassment.

Since there isn’t going to be a public debate between the two, you may want to know more about the candidates’ specific positions on issues important to Alabamians. No worries. Check out this post I wrote.
