Today, USA Today released the results of its Reader’s Choice 10Best “Best Beer Bar” contest. Each beer bar was nominated by an expert panel and voted on by USA Today readers.

But what makes a great beer bar? According to USA Today, the recipe for a great beer bar includes:

A wide selection of draft, bottled and canned beers with a focus on local and regional beverages
A relaxed atmosphere
A knowledgeable bar staff

With that criteria, it’s no surprise that Lakeview’s Hop City Beer & Wine has consistently ranked highly! In fact, this is the fourth year in a row that Hop City has ranked in the top ten on USA Today’s “Best Beer Bar” contest.
