According to a recent press release from the City of Leeds, TA will begin construction of their new facility in the coming weeks. The project aims to integrate the old with the new, utilizing salvaged brick from the historic hardware building to restore it to its original state.

“This is a project we have been working on with Mr. Schell for several months now and it is exciting to see it come to fruition.

We have a developer who understands the significance of the historical value of this building and has chosen to go to the effort and the expense of incorporating it into his new plan.

We are excited to see this building be given a second life!”

David Miller, Mayor, City of Leeds

The new facility is designed to accommodate the growing TA team, and includes:

  • Open office and meeting space on the first floor and mezzanine levels
  • Conference space
  • A games room
  • A break room

“We are pleased to continue the expansion of our business with the addition of this new facility, which blends the new with the old.

We believe that this investment and design will help set the tone for the continued development and revitalization of the community for years to come.”

Scott Schell, President & CEO, TA Services, Inc.

TA has enlisted the help of two local firms:

  • Christopher Architecture and Interiors — Architect and Interior Design
  • Watson Bruhn Contractors — Construction

According to the City of Leeds, TA aims to complete the development by mid-2025.
