Nawlins Style Po’boys is bringing the taste of Louisiana to Alabaster

The exciting flavors of New Orleans are coming to Alabaster!

Nawlins Style Po’boys, known for their food truck and Louisiana-inspired eats, is opening a sit-down restaurant at 1207 First St. N., where Chubbfather’s was formerly located.

Nawlins has been serving the Birmingham area through its food truck since 2020, and at their new location you can expect the same taste of New Orleans, including:

• Po’boy sandwiches + French bread
• Seafood baskets
• Loaded Frychos
• Okra
• Oysters

Opening details

Nawlins will be holding a soft opening this Friday, June 28 + Saturday, June 29.

• Where: 1207 1st St N, Alabaster, AL 35007
• When: 10:30AM – 8:00PM

However, their grand opening will be July 19.

Alabaster has seen major development in 2024

Alabaster has brought approximately 600,000 square feet of new retail, restaurant and hotel space through District 31, a $242 million development.

The first project is called The Shoppes at District 31, with the first tenants being:

• CAVA
• Chipotle
• Five Guys Burgers and Fries 
• Nothing Bundt Cakes
• Tropical Smoothie Cafe
• Aspen Dental
