Southern Flames offers a wide range of amenities

Formerly an event venue, Southern Flames is located at 6501 Aaron Aronnov Drive.

The new space offers a wide variety of amenities including:

Comfortable outdoor patio with TVs, fire pit and gathering areas
Big screen for gameday action and multiple TVs
Fully-equipped and spacious bar and dining area
Large stage that can host live music and comedy shows

Southern Flames is open Thursday through Sunday. In addition to the entertainment options there are some great steam table, brunch and pub food offerings:

Thursday & Friday Hot Bar — Fresh lunchtime meat & three and veggie plates between 11AM to 2PM
Saturday Brunch Hot Bar — Breakfast items, chicken & waffles and shrimp & grits
Soul Food Sunday Hot Bar — Ribs, collard greens, smoked chicken and more
Daily Bar Menu — Classic Burger, Philly sandwiches, wings, fries and more

Southern Flames owners Joi and Deon Watson are excited to bring good wholesome meals and fun to Fairfield, especially in an area of town that is considered a food desert.

“I have a background in nutrition, and I’m also an MD. We want to bring some healthy food — vegetables to our steam table. We want to create an environment for people to have fun, in a safe place with some good food.”

Deon told Bham Now, the city of Fairfield has been very supportive of their new place and it will benefit not only the town but also surrounding communities.

“They (Fairfield) supported our idea to bring a fun place that will provide food for not only the City of Fairfield, but the surrounding areas: Hueytown, Pleasant Grove, Midfield, Ensley and Bessemer.”
