It’s the start of another week in Birmingham, and we’re excited about some awesome new openings including another Alabama Peanut Company location in Alabama.

1. Goodies Toy Store | Homewood
A new toy store and play concept is coming to the former Hero Doughnuts location across from Homewood’s Central Park. Called Goodies Toy Store, this first-of-its-kind business will sell goodie bags and boxes for kids to fill with toys and play onsite.

2. Tina’s Market | Homewood

3. Guthrie’s Chicken | Gardendale
Popular Alabama-based chicken finger restaurant chain Guthrie’s is coming to Gardendale.
Gardendale Mayor Stan Hogeland announced on social media the new addition to the Jefferson County town north of Birmingham.

4. Alabama Peanut Company | Tuscaloosa
Get excited, T-town. According to Alabama Peanut Company’s Instagram, the beloved peanut shop is opening its second brick-and-mortar location in Downtown Tuscaloosa.

1. Rack Room Shoes | Brook Highland Plaza
Rack Room Shoes in Brook Highland Plaza on Highway 280 has closed. The news first popped up on the Friends of Hwy 280 Facebook page. Bham Now swung by the spot and saw it was empty—no signs or shoes in sight.
