NEW: Carhartt opening 1st store in Alabama at The Summit

Carhartt, the iconic 135 year-old family owned durable work wear apparel company is opening its first Alabama location at The Summit in Birmingham.

The February 8th grand opening announcement was made on The Summit’s Facebook page.

Where can you find the new Carhartt?

The new store can be found at 240 Summit Blvd Unit 104 in between Buckle and Allen Edmonds. 

If you are unfamiliar with Carhartt — here is a sample of their inventory::

  • Overalls and Coveralls
  • Gloves
  • Work shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts
  • Thermal base layers shirts and leggings
  • Shoes/boots
  • And 39 different flame resistant items of clothing

The Summit continues to introduce new brands and concepts not only to Birmingham, but also for the entire state. Last week, the retail center opened Alabama’s first Churro Station, near the AMC Summit 16 movie theater.
