The summer weather in Birmingham this year has been a scorcher! Temps are expected to rise to the 100s this week. Don’t panic just yet—we’ve put together a heat survival pack from local shops around The Magic City to help you brave the heat. Keep reading for the details.

1. Extra extra sunscreen.

Make sure when you leave the house, you have hair ties or rubber bands if you need to put your hair up. I know they are something I am always digging around for when the temps rise and you never know who might ask you for an extra. Can’t find any in your purse or car? 4. Don’t forget to drink water.
