The Fire and Recovery
At the beginning of May, as reported by Bham Now, Birmingham Recycling & Recovery experienced a devastating fire in Avondale. Most of the damage was contained to the warehouse, allowing the processing plant to stay intact. Just two weeks later, the company was able to restart much of its operations (delaying a few services) and reopen on May 30.
