From mouth-watering food to gorgeous flowers, there are so many new businesses that just opened or are coming soon to Birmingham. Read on to learn about your new favorite spot in The Magic City.

1. Biscuit Love | Cahaba Heights

The best mornings start at brunch with friends, which is where Biscuit Love comes in. This Tennessee-based breakfast spot just opened a new location in Cahaba Heights. All of you Southerners will love the menu jam-packed with biscuit dishes. We’ll be digging into their bonuts—fried biscuits tossed in sugar with lemon mascarpone and blueberry compote.

2. A-Train Station | West End

A fan-fave food truck just opened its brick-and-mortar store on Birmingham’s West End. A-Train Station is serving its famous loaded fries, Philly cheesesteaks and wings. Plus, they’re expanding their delicious menu with catfish and shrimp dishes.

3. Lady E at Elysian | Avondale

Get ready to load up on some hot chicken and wings. Lady E at Elysian is bringing a taste of the South to Elysian Gardens, an all-inclusive gathering place in Avondale. This chicken joint will serve some of the best dishes, including the famous 24-karat gold-dusted wings.

4. I Heart Mac & Cheese | Hoover

Pasta and cheese? Yes, please! I Heart Mac & Cheese, a fast-casual franchise based in Florida, is opening its Hoover location on Wednesday, December 21. This spot is, of course, serving up cheesy goodness. From lobster and white truffle mac and cheese to grilled cheese, there’s something for everyone.

5. Kemp’s Kitchen + Golden Rule BBQ | Trussville

Earlier this year, we were sad to say goodbye to Kemp’s Kitchen and Golden Rule BBQ due to a fire. However, we have exciting news—these beloved spots are reopening in Trussville under the same roof on Monday, December 19.

6. O’Taste & See | Crestwood Festival Center

Looking for a new lunch spot? A delicious place just opened in the Crestwood Festival Center. With authentic soul food, O’Taste & See has some of your favorites on its delicious menu, including fried chicken, BBQ ribs and collared greens.

7. Wild Flower Honey Truck

Florals galore are coming to The Magic City. Wild Honey Flower Truck is bringing beautiful flowers to Bham on wheels with their newest truck. Ruby, a red 1965 Ford Econoline, is now rolling around town to help you build a stunning bouquet.

8. Datus Henry CBD Wellness and Health Store | Downtown

Need some help relaxing? Located in the Birmingham Civil Rights District, there’s a new CBD retail store open for business. Datus Henry CBD Wellness and Health Store is offering Amabama-grown hemp products, including lotions and oils.

9. Iron City Bar & Lounge | Avondale

Craft cocktails, tasty beer and good vibes are what this spot is all about. Avondale keeps on getting better and better and Iron City Bar & Lounge is the newest addition. Owner MeMe Williams has been part of Birmingham’s entertainment scene for many years and is now bringing drinks, hookahs, music and more fun to town.
