Get your Greek on

(Ben Johnson / Bham Now)

Tasty Town offers fresh Greek food everyday for lunch and dinner. With an emphasis on traditional and Southern ingredients, bright vegetables, savory dips and fresh baked pita are the stars of the menu. YUM!

Haven’t tried it? Here are a few reasons you need to visit Tasty Town:

1. An incredible menu

SO fresh and good. (Jacob Blankenship / Bham Now)

The menu at Tasty Town is AMAZING. From zucchini fritters to braised lamb sandwiches and Pastichio (Greek lasagna, order it and thank us later), you’ll want a bite of everything on the menu.

The sides on the menu are anything but boring. My favorite are the lemon potatoes, but the grilled okra comes in a very close second.

2. Welcoming staff

Happy faces! (Tasty Town / Facebook)

The staff at Tasty Town is one of the best parts of the restaurant. The service is fantastic, and the staff is so happy to help you find just what you’re looking for to give you the best experience possible.

“Restaurants are a place where people come to get away from the everyday. They come to sit down and spend time with family and friends, so the idea that we get to provide a space for that to happen is pretty special.”

Mike Wilson, Operating Partner + Head Chef, Tasty Town

3. Delicious pita made in house

Tasty Town
My favorite! (Jacob Blankenship / Bham Now)

The warm, oven-made pita is what brought me back to Tasty Town. They make it right there in the kitchen and bring it straight to your table. I could eat it with the chargrilled eggplant hummus every. single. day.

4. The desserts, obviously

After digging in to a fantastic meal, saving a little room for dessert is a must. You know we don’t miss any opportunity for dessert here. Here’s what sweets you can enjoy at Tasty Town:

  • Chocolate Church Cake: layers of chocolate cake & rich frosting
  • Loukoumades: Greek doughnuts, eastaboga honey, chopped walnuts
  • Greek Frozen Yogurt: baklava crumbles, seasonal fruit, Eastaboga honey, pomegranate molasses + EVOO
  • Baklava: layered pastry dessert with phyllo and pecans

Tasty Town is one of the best spots for after work drinks. They offer over 10 different house cocktails, beer and wine by the glass and bottle. They’ve got a few non-alcoholic cocktails too, including an incredibly refreshing elderflower grapefruit cordial that our Managing Producer swears by, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
