Ready to head back to school? Brothers and Sisters Inquiring Change (B.A.S.I.C. How did this event start?
The Magic City Back-to-School Bash started around three years ago. It’s always been a collaboration between B.A.S.I.C. Movement and Clippers Barbershop. The real goal of the event is to not only prepare kids for the new school year with much-needed supplies but also to make them excited about school and learning.
“We’re here for the community and what better way to get involved with the community than with helping kids get a fresh start each school year with new supplies and a new haircut?”
Lamar Benefield, Co-founder, B.A.S.I.C Movement
