The Tracks, a $61M multifamily development near Rotary Trail, begins construction this month

New developments are popping up all over Birmingham. The Tracks, a $61 million multifamily development is coming to Birmingham near the Rotary Trail. The 273-unit project begins construction this month, spearheaded by TWG, a national real estate development company.

Located at 2400 1st Avenue South, the project is expected to be completed in Summer 2024. Amenities include a pool deck, fire pits, community lounge, indoor gym and more. The project will offer ample parking and a pathway connector to the Rotary Trail.

Coffee lovers, you’re not going to want to miss this. Frothy Monkey is coming to Birmingham in the former Urban Standard space, and we’ve got a sneak peek at all the exciting features.

The space will offer ample seating for any occasion, including:

  • cocktail bar seating
  • two dining rooms
  • front window bar seating
  • sidewalk dining
  • covered back patio

CityWalk BHAM nearing completion ahead of The World Games 2022

We’ve got more exciting updates on the progress of CityWalk Bham ahead of The World Games 2022. CityWalk Bham is nearing its final stages, with playground structures being installed, progress on the visitor’s center and concrete work in the skate park finishing up next week. This eight-block addition to Birmingham will add fun new recreational activities to the community. Click here for a full update on CityWalk Bham’s progress.

The lot that was previously home to Chai Market in Southside is being given new life. According to Birmingham Business Journal, the proposed development at the corner of Seventh Avenue South and 22nd St. South will bring convenience and several exciting shops, including:

  • Coffee shops
  • Nail parlors
  • Restaurants
  • Salons
  • Small offices

According to Jack Little of Red Rock Realty who is leasing the proposed development for the owners, the architect of the retail development, Krumdieck Architecture, is working with Birmingham’s Design Review Committee for approval of the developed renderings.
