Greater Birmingham is getting two new pOpshelf locations. Trendy retail shop pOpshelf announced a 2022 opening date for a store location in Alabaster and the Hoover location is set to open their doors tomorrow, January 19. Keep reading for all the details.
Catch the trends at Alabaster’s newest retail store
That’s right. The variety store, launched by Dollar General in 2020, is coming to Alabaster.
According to Shelby County Reporter, the store has been expanding across the country over the past two years. It debuted its first two locations near Nashville. Now, according to representatives, there are approximately 50 store locations operating as of 2022, including the Alabaster store.
The Alabaster location will aim to engage customers with a fun, affordable and stress-free shopping experience where they can find on-trend merchandise, according to Shelby County Reporter. The merchandise includes:
- Seasonal and home decor
- Health and beauty must-haves
- Home cleaning supplies
- Party goods
- Entertaining items
The new location is currently under construction at 320 Colonial Promenade Parkway. The store opening is planned to either open at the end of January or sometime in February depending on construction progress in the coming weeks.
