Headquarters find a home in Birmingham

Get excited Birmingham because this San Francisco business is coming to town. The headquarters will be in downtown Birmingham in the John Hand Building. Landing’s CEO and founder, Bill Smith, is a Birmingham native. So, he’s ready to come back home.

“As a Birmingham native, relocating our headquarters and expanding our Alabama team was a natural transition.

I’m excited by the opportunity to continue to scale Landing and bring new jobs and economic opportunities to my community.”

In order to make this move a reality, the State of Alabama, Jefferson County and the City of Birmingham partnered together. Because of the 800+ jobs, the local economy will for sure take a boost with the headquarters coming to town.

Goodbye San Francisco, hello Bham

Birmingham Business Alliance is proud to let San Francisco know of Landing’s new home. So, they let the Bay area know with a big billboard.

“We’re pretty proud Landing picked Birmingham.

It’s the largest headquarter relocation within the past couple years in the nation.”

Ron Kitchens, CEO, Birmingham Business Alliance

Birmingham Business Alliance does not only recruit companies, but individuals. Kitchens said he heard back from people interested in moving to Birmingham for a job at Landing or at other Magic City companies.

That’s what I call effective advertising
