Brewers bring craft soda home to Birmingham—check it out
Craft beverage lovers, this one’s for you. Asheville-based craft soda maker, Devil’s Foot Beverage Company, is connecting their home state, Alabama, with farm-to-can craft sodas. Here are the details on their new partnership with AlaBev.
Devil’s Foot found its way home
Devil’s Foot Beverage Company is a craft soda maker company based in Asheville, North Carolina. The founders, Ben Colvin and Jacob Bauman, are both Birmingham natives and wanted to share their products with their beloved city.

Officially launching in Asheville in 2017 with their Classic Ginger Beer, Devil’s Foot now produces ten distinct flavors of craft soda—crafted with local and organic roots and fruits. The flavors include:
- Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade
- Sparkling Black Tea & Lemonade
- Classic Ginger Beer
- Sparkling Lemonade
- Fuego Ginger Beer
- Sparkling Limeade
- Blackberry Ginger Beer
- Sparkling Blueberry Lemonade
- Sparkling Cherry Limeade
- The new Ben’s Friends Sparkling Peach Lemonade
In addition to the flavors, all cans contain 20 grams of sugar or less.
Devil’s Foot partners with AlaBev
Devil’s Foot recently announced a new partnership with AlaBev, Alabama’s premier food and beverage distributor, that has serviced the entire state of Alabama for over a century.
