About Half Shell Oyster House

Half Shell got its start in Gulfport, Mississippi in 2008 and quickly rose to fame due to their legendary charbroiled oysters. Since then, the restaurant has expanded to 14 locations throughout Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana.

In 2020, the restaurant opened in Birmingham’s Lakeshore area as well as in Trussville. Now, the restaurant will soon open its 15th location at Campus No. 124 in Pelham.

As you may already know, Campus No. 124 is Pelham’s new entertainment district. The developers of Campus No. 124 worked with Kennedy Striplin of Beeker Property Group and Melody Whitten of 58 INC. to bring Half Shell Oyster House to Pelham.

What’s on the menu?

Now onto the food. The Half Shell serves brunch, lunch and dinner, and also offers a gluten-free menu. Choose from items like shrimp and grits, crab cakes, oysters and more.

Not a sea-foodie? No worries. Half Shell Oyster House offers much more than ocean-inspired cuisine. So, be sure to check the menu for other options like chicken, steak, pasta and salad.
