Let’s face it: moving can be one of the most stressful events in your life. Local entrepreneur Ron Holt is here to change all of that with his new biz, Pink Zebra Moving. Whether you’re packing boxes soon or staying put, you don’t want to miss the venture that’s making moving fun.

Bringing great businesses to Bham since 2003

If you’re a big fan of making life easier, you may already be familiar with Ron Holt’s name. He founded Two Maids & A Mop in 2003, and now, the company has 90 locations across the US. Two Maids & A Mop was ranked by Inc. as one of Alabama’s top job creators in 2013.

Holt plans to make Pink Zebra Moving just as helpful as Two Maids & A Mop is. He expects a future of franchising for the brand, with a goal to open 150 locations over the next 10 years. What’s that mean for Bham? Basically, the Magic City will be home to yet another successful business.

When you think of moving, you probably don’t think of having a blast. Holt wants to change that with Pink Zebra.

“At Pink Zebra, it’s not about the move itself, but the experience because happiness is the only emotion you should feel after hiring a moving company. Our ultimate goal is to put a smile on the face of every person we serve, so we’re extremely intentional about everything we do in order to ensure we see that result.”

Here are just a few ways they’ll make the moving experience a good one:

  • Mystery moving boxes stocked with goodies
  • Free ice cream giveaways from the truck
  • Surprise meal deliveries before + after a move

Pink Zebra will have the same Pay for Performance model that helped launch Two Maids & A Mop to success. The Pay for Performance model allows customers to rate the quality of their service, and then team members are paid based on that feedback. Bottom line? Employees work hard to deliver the best experience each time.

“We know Pink Zebra Moving can disrupt the moving industry in a powerful way and are excited to see what the future holds for us here in Birmingham and beyond.”
