With the weather in Birmingham getting hotter, it’s only natural that we’re wanting to be outside to enjoy it. It’s also the perfect time to explore the city with your significant other. So if you’re wanting to impress your new boo with views of the Birmingham skyline or go on a daytime adventure in the city with bae, keep scrolling down below.

1. The Market at Pepper Place

The Market at Pepper Place is the perfect place for a foodie couple. There is fresh meat and produce, live music and an abundance of vendors with samples and treats to try right there on the spot. A fun idea would be to purchase some ingredients to cook a cute meal with your boo when you get home.

According to their website, Red Mountain Adventures is closed due to COVID guidelines. However, we couldn’t help but put it on this list. If you and your date are the adventurous types, this would get the blood pumping and give you memories to last a lifetime.

3. Back Forty Beer Company

Looking to just get out of the house for a chill afternoon date? Back Forty Beer Company is a solid option. Not only do they have one of the best burgers in Birmingham, but they also have a spacious beer garden for you and your date to relax, and enjoy the beautiful weather.

An added bonus is that you can bring your furry friends. Just make sure they don’t feel like the third wheel.

Picnics are one of the sweetest gestures to show how much a person means to you. Pack up your picnic basket with your person’s favorite snacks and a few games to get in some much-needed quality time. We suggest Railroad Park in downtown Birmingham because those views are top-notch.

Taking your date to the Moon Shine Birmingham at Elyton Hotel will give you a reason to dress up and spend the night sipping cocktails while enjoying the starry skies. You are guaranteed to have a great time at a Birmingham Barons baseball game at Regions Field. I like to think of it as half baseball game and half social event. Their game schedule is already out, so go ahead and start planning now.

If you and bae are just wanting to get out of the house for a fun night in the city, you definitely have to venture out to a game on a thirsty Thursday for the drink specials.
