Friday, April 16 is the 75th anniversary of Milo’s Hamburgers. Grab a spot in line at your nearest location because they’ll be offering 75-cent original hamburgers and original cheeseburgers via drive-in + drive-thru on this special day.

Artists and artisans will line Orr Park in Montevallo Saturday, April 17 during the Montevallo Arts Fest. Expect live music, food trucks, balloon animals + more. 10AM-5PM. Admission is FREE.

A puppy good time

Grab your pup and join Hand in Paw (HIP) for the annual Mutt Strut: Dog-Friendly 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, April 17. This year’s event will be virtual, so you can run or walk at your leisure at any location you’d like. I suggest following one of HIP’s dog-friendly race routes across Birmingham—you’ll even have access to a curated music playlist to make your virtual race even more exciting. Learn more + sign up.
