With voting being on everyone’s minds right now, it’s the perfect time to discover how our former leaders advocated for our right to vote. Join Vulcan Park and Museum on Sunday, October 16 for an outdoor movie screening of The Fight for the Noblest Democracy: Women’s Suffrage in Alabama.

This whimsical tale hits the stage of the Virginia Samford Theatre this weekend in a reimagined socially-distant production like you’ve never seen before. Follow the story of two meddling fathers and one enigmatic narrator as they interfere with a teenage couple attempting to navigate life. Sounds like Romeo and Juliet gone rogue. A movie celebration
Fiesta BHAM’s month-long virtual festival draws to a close Sunday, October 18. They’ll be celebrating its success movie style. Get your tickets to Disney’s Pixar Coco en Espanol (with English subtitles) at the Grand River Drive in at Leeds. Gates open at 5PM. Movie starts at 7PM. Tickets.
